Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Atompod Integration LLC, doing business as FieldTechnicians.com (herein referred to as “Atompod”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about field service technicians and other users (“you”) who use our website at fieldtechnicians.com, our field service provider (FSP) portal, and our mobile application (together, the “Services”).
By creating an account, using the Services, or providing us your information, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and in our Terms & Conditions.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide to us, information generated as you use the Services, and information from third parties that help us operate the platform. This includes:
- Account & profile information — name, email address, phone number, mailing/dispatch address, company or vendor affiliation, and login credentials.
- Professional information — skills, certifications, tools and equipment, service areas, availability, your résumé, your “Tell us what you do” description, work history, and a profile photo (which may be used to verify your identity).
- Work order information — offers, assignments, check-ins, timesheets, notes, photos, signatures, and deliverables you upload while performing work.
- Communications — messages, calls, texts, chat messages, voicemails, and call recordings and transcriptions exchanged through or about the Services.
- Location & device information — when you use the mobile app, we may collect device identifiers, app version, and (with your permission) location information used to match you with nearby work and to verify on-site check-ins.
- Payment-related information — see Section 4. Bank account and tax (W-9) details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by Atompod.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account and profile.
- Match you with work order opportunities that fit your skills, availability, and location.
- Coordinate, schedule, and support work orders you are offered or accept, including collecting deliverables.
- Process and facilitate payments to you for completed work.
- Send you the communications described in Section 3.
- Maintain the security, integrity, and quality of the platform, including ratings and identity verification.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Communications — Email, Phone Calls, and SMS Text Messages
By creating an account and providing your contact information, you expressly consent to receive communications from Atompod by email, phone call, and SMS/MMS text message at the phone number and email address you provide. These communications may relate to:
- Work order opportunities and offers available to you;
- Work orders you have accepted, including scheduling, dispatch, and coordination;
- Payment information and status;
- Reminders about upcoming or in-progress work orders;
- Status updates on work orders;
- Requests for deliverables or other information needed to complete a work order and to pay you; and
- Account, security, verification, and service-related notices.
Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. This consent applies to communications sent through our website, our FSP portal, and our mobile app, and may be delivered using automated systems.
Opting out: You may opt out of SMS text messages at any time by replying STOPto any message; reply HELP for help. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. Please note that even if you opt out of promotional messages, we may still send you transactional or service-related messages necessary to operate your account and the work orders you accept (for example, dispatch, payment, and deliverable requests). Opting out of certain communications may limit or prevent your ability to receive and complete work through the Services.
4. Payment and Financial Information — W-9 and Banking
Atompod does not collect or store your bank account or tax (W-9) information. Payments to technicians are handled through our third-party payment processor (Stripe, including Stripe Connect). Your banking details and tax information are collected and stored directly by the payment processor under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive only limited information necessary to determine your payout status and to reconcile payments (for example, whether your payout account is active). We encourage you to review the payment processor’s privacy policy for details on how it handles your financial information.
5. The Mobile App
Everything described in this Privacy Policy—including how we collect, use, and share your information and the communications you consent to in Section 3—also applies to our mobile application. In addition, the mobile app may, with your permission, access device features such as location, camera and photos (to capture and upload work order deliverables), and push notifications. You can manage these permissions in your device settings, though disabling them may limit app functionality.
6. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the Services:
- Clients, dispatchers, and project managers — to offer, assign, coordinate, and complete work orders (for example, your name, profile, location, and work order deliverables).
- Service providers — vendors who help us run the platform, such as our payment processor (Stripe), communications providers (for email, SMS, and calling), hosting, and analytics providers, who may process information on our behalf.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or harm.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Data Retention & Security
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your Choices & Rights
- Access and update your profile information within the Services.
- Opt out of SMS (reply STOP) and marketing email (use the unsubscribe link) as described in Section 3.
- Manage device permissions for the mobile app in your device settings.
- Request deletion of your account by contacting us, subject to information we must retain by law.
9. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on and may link to third-party services (such as our payment processor and mapping providers). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
10. Children
The Services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
